Brief Resume - Maj. Ved Prakash has been working with full dedication in AICC for the past over 25 years co-ordinating various activities and programmes
- Worked as Secretary, AICC In-charge of Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Mizoram; also Secretary In-charge, Frontal Organisations - Mahila Congress &  Seva Dal.
- Worked as AICC Secretary, In-charge of Maharashtra during Assembly Elections 2004
- Worked as AICC Secretary, In-charge of Himachal Pradesh and Chhattisgarh during Lok Sabha Elections 2004
- Worked as AICC Secretary, In-charge of Karnataka
- Worked for Co-ordination of Assembly Elections in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya and Nagaland.
- Co-ordinated AICC Control Room activities both for Lok Sabha Elections and Assembly Elections since November 1984
- Successfully Co-ordinated Assembly Election in 2008 in Mizoram where the Congress Party won 32 Assembly seats out of 40.

(a) Germany – Attended a four party's convention at Berlin, Germany during April 2008 as a member of an Indian National Congress delegation. The delegations from Brazil, Germany, South Africa and India interacted on International political scenario, inflation and food crisis, global warming, women empowerment etc.

(b) China – Toured China as a Members of Congress Party goodwill delegation; visited Beijing, Shangai, Hangchow and Honkong to improve relations between the two majors political parties of the world.

(c) Spain – Attended International Parliamentary Unit (IPU) conference held at Madrid.

(d) France – Visited Paris

(e) Nepal – Visited twice as part of Indian National Congress goodwill delegations.
