Appointed Secretary of AICC in 2004, first worked with Shri Ashok Gehlot, General Secretary, AICC. Looked after Frontal Organizations of Congress. Visited many places of Jharkhand during this period.

Later, given the Charge of Jharkhand State. Toured extensively in rural area of Jharkhand to assess the ground realities of Party position. Conducted many meetings.

In 2008, shifted to work under Smt. Mohsina Kidwai, General Secretary, AICC. Now looking after Mahila Congress and other states under the supervision of Smt. Kidwai.

Sent to Aruncahal Pradesh before election in 2008. Conducted many election meetings at various places during my stay here for 10 days.

In the recent election of five states, sent to Chhattisgarh. Stayed at Kanker District for 5 days. Traveled to many rural areas, conducted a number of meetings.

Campaigned in the by election of Laxmipur in Orissa.

Visited Nagpur and Chandrapur of Maharashtra as election observer for the Party.

During the recent Municipal / Panchayat elections of Orissa, campaigned for the party candidates in Rayagada and Koraput districts.

Attended many seminars as in-charge of Mahila Cogress at Bangalore, Jharkhand, Orissa and Delhi.

Visited Kalinganagar (Orissa) during agitation against Naveen Pattnayak Govt. by local Tribals as the Party observer.

Won in thumping majority in Gunupur Assembly seat – with 2nd highest margin.

When in Mahila Congress, conducted agitation against custom of ‘Sati’ in from of BJP office.

Sat on Hunger strike at Bangi Chhaka in Gumuda against Shri Naveen PAttnaik Govt. for reconstruction of Banssadhara River bridge-attested by police.
