	Assigned with following responsible tasks by the Party High Command: Vice President, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (I) (2002 to 2005) General Secretary, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (I) (1998 to 2002) General Secretary, Indian Youth Congress (I), (1993 to 1997) President, Maharashtra Youth Congress Committee (I) (1988 to 1989) President, Maharashtra NSUI (I) (1983 to 1987) Chief Convener, Historic National Convention of NSUI at Nagpur (Sept. 1984.) Also successfully completed lots of important tasks entrusted by the party from time to time.

University	Took very active interest in student politics & kept party’s interest uppermost in mind right from this infancy stage of entering active politics. General Secretary, Nagpur University Students Council, elected on NSUI (I) panel, (1977) Resigned membership of the University Senate as it’s student member on the issue of Fee Rise. Successfully organized victorious for NSUI (I) Panel in University elections for almost a decade.
Foreign Trips	Effectively participated as leader and / or Member of Official delegations to various countries on important missions: Leader, Indian Youth Delegation to North Korea (Pyongyang) under the Cultural Exchange Programme. Sole Representative of India to the Commonwealth Students Conference at Melbourne, Australia in Sept – 1983. Coordinator, University Students delegation to fourteen European Countries in 1978. Delegate at the conference on Nuclear Disarmament & North – East relationship. Delegate, International Jaycees Convention held at Taipei (China) in 1983. Represented at the seminar on slums development & Child Welfare, Hong Kong in 1983. Delegate, International Youth & Students Festival, Moscow in 1985.
Social Work	Following Academic, Spiritual and social oriented Organisations founded jointly with Late Dr. Shrikant Jichkar (Ex MP and Former Secretary, AICC): Vice Chairman, Central India Research Foundation for Socio-economic and Political Affairs. Trustee, “Arsha Vigyan Gurukul” (A noble institution founded by Dr. Shrikant Jichkar under guidance of Swami Dayanand Saraswati for keeping alive the treasures of knowledge and wisdom contained in our invaluable ancient scriptures) Trustee and Vice-President, “Sandipani School” (Targeting to inculcate Indian values and ethos in children along with modern education in a secular environment – to help create patriotic next generation). Chairman, “Kavi Pradeep Foundation” (An Organisation devoted to art and culture with Patriotism as theme)
