Cadre who retired as Chief Secretary of undivided M.P. Mother Smt. Devendra Kumari was Minister in M.P. and held various portfolios in different Ministries Brother T. S. Singh Deo is MLA in Chattisgarh. Joined the NSUI in 1971 and was elected to several student bodies at school and college level. Was awarded the Presidents Medal for girl guides. Elected as President of Bhopal University students union in 1978-79. Got married to R.K. Brijendra Singh of Chamba H.P. on 19th April 1979, Was elected as MLA in February 1985 for the first time and then again in 1993, 1998, 2003. Held various posts in the Congress Party and was General Secretary HPCC till 2011. Was member of various house Committees of H.P. Vidhan Sabha including PAC, PUC, Estimates, Power, Education & others Remained Chairman of H.P.V.S. house committees on Power, Education, GAD & others. Remained Minister of State for Primary Education and Cabinet Minister for Higher Education, University Education and Technical Education, Appointed as Secretary AICC 4th March, 2011. |
